Ningbo Changshi has entered a pilot partnership with an aerial robotics developer to trial drone-assisted stringing on selected transmission projects. The collaboration aims to combine Ningbo Changshi’s puller/tension systems with aerial delivery for pilot lines and conductor placement.

Pilot goals
• Validate drone-assisted pilot wire placement for long spans and environmentally sensitive zones.
• Assess hybrid workflows that merge drones for pilot line work with traditional pullers/OHTLstringingequipment.com/Hydraulic-Conductor-Tensioners.html target='_blank'>Tensioners for conductor install.
• Improve safety and reduce helicopter dependency for remote line projects.

Safety and regulation
Trials will adhere to local aviation and safety regulations and will be monitored closely. Ningbo Changshi will document operational practices and share findings with partners and clients.
